Survey on typical dosing vehicles used to simplify the administration of pediatric medicines

On behalf of Prof. Dr. Sandra Klein University of Greifswald we gladly invite you to participate in this survey on typical dosing devices to administer pediatric medicines and with this support the development of “better medicines for children”.

Dear colleagues, friends, health-care professionals, parents, and caregivers,

the research of my group in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Greifswald, Germany is focusing on the development of better medicines for children and in this field, there are still many gaps to fill. This can only be done with the support of many people and thus, I would be grateful, if you could spend just 2 minutes on this topic:

Oral medicines for children are often co-administered with fluids or on a spoon of semisolid food to mask a bitter taste or enhance swallowability. With the aim of assessing the impact of commonly used dosing vehicles on the efficacy and safety of orally administered medicines in children, we are trying to gather information on typical dosing vehicles that are used to administer pediatric medicines in different countries of the world.

If you have ever dosed oral medicines to children, we would be very grateful, if you fill in our online questionnaire to provide us with some essential information on which kind of dosing vehicles you use or may have used for a particular drug product or on what are common pediatric dosing vehicles in your country. Every bit of information helps!

The questionnaire is available in different languages (see the post in LinkedIn) – access the English link here:

Thank you very much in advance for your time and for supporting our efforts and activities in improving the safety and efficacy of pediatric medicines! This is highly appreciated!!!
