Webinar – Latest outcomes from ex vivo and in vivo studies with Labrasol® ALF and Labrafac™ MC60, intestinal permeation enhancers

Many drugs suffer from low oral bioavailability due to poor intestinal absorption (BCS Classes III and IV, peptides and macromolecules). Formulating with intestinal permeation enhancers can overcome this limiting factor.  Medium chain fatty acids are reputed to increase intestinal permeation, among them Labrasol® ALF, caprylocaproyl polyoxyl-8 glycerides and Labrafac™ MC60, glyceryl mono and dicaprylocaprate.

Join Gattefossé for their webinar, in which Dr. Fiona McCartney shares her latest ex vivo and in vivo results from a Gattefossé sponsored study, at University College of Dublin, that assessed the efficacy of Labrasol® ALF and Labrafac™ MC60 as transient intestinal permeation enhancers.

After the 40-minutes-presentation, there will be opportunity to ask questions to acknowledged experts, Professor David Brayden and Philippe Caisse, who will join Dr. McCartney for a 20-minute Q&A session.
